Indignant Greeks 25 May 2011

May 25, 2011, Athens, Greece. “Indignant Greeks”, Following the current example of the Spanish ”Indignados”, more than 10.000 people gathered in Syntagma square to demonstrate their indignation caused by the additional harsh austerity measures about to be announced by the greek government in order to meet the terms of the IMF and the EU. The move was organised via social media, independently of political parties or syndicates. The demonstration was peaceful with slogans mainly against the government and the IMF.
